Rest
The outer districts of Bucharest are now a residential area for workers. There are almost no official documents about Rest available to the public of Bucha.

Locations
The following locations are relevant to the story.

| Old residential area | This area is a distance away from any facilities run by "The Factory". Some people still live in run-down houses and hunt or grow food. Alina's house is located in the old residential area. |
| The Factory | "The Factory" is an institution that runs multiple buildings where people work and are payed on a daily basis with necessities like food and clean water. |
| Bandit camp | The camp of bandits led by [[Saschko]] is located near the wall to Bucha, but outside the slums. |
| Trading Shop | A place where people from the residential area can trade items. The trading shop is a social hub for the residents. |
| Correction facility | A subsidiary of "The Factory". Criminals and exiles from Bucha are brought to the correction facility. There are a lot of rumors about this institution as no one who is admitted there was ever seen leaving the facility. |
| Old University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine | North of Bucha. [[Professor A.]] gathered people there to help him research and grow genetically manipulated crops and medicine to eventually provide an independent supply of food and medicine for the citizens of Rest. |
| Farms | Research farms are located near the old university. The farms are run by the group of workers and researchers that gathered around [[Professor A.]] . The farms use the vertical farming approach and are heavily guarded to prevent theft. |
| Slums | Ladislau's house is located in the densely populated slums. |
Infrastructure
There are no cars or other means of transport in Rest. The roads are in bad shape, but are still used as walkways. There is no organized supply of food and water.
Education
There are no education institutions in Rest, which results in most people not being able to read or write.
Laws
While there are laws that prohibit robbery and murder, laws in Rest are not enforced.
Economy
Because the concept of money does not exist in Rest, there are a lot of semi-professional trading businesses where people trade food and items. The trading shops function as banks and are often frequented by bandits (not to rob the trading shops, but to exchange their loot).
Environment & Nature
Because of the acid rain and residues of radioactivity in the earth, a lot of people suffer from illnesses and mutations. There are a lot of lightnings. There are a lot of dogs in Rest.
Society
Most people in Rest work in the many subsidiaries of "The Factory", where they get compensated with food and clear water on a daily basis. As there are no contracts and insurances in place, workers do not have a social security network to rely on and usually try to work even when sick. The crime rate in Rest is high, as are poverty and diseases. As a result, there are a lot of religious groups. There are also a lot of ethnic minorities in Rest, e.g., Roma & Sinti. There are also a lot of people with genetic deformations due to consuming radioactive contaminated water and food.
